Welcome to the family little Singer! I am so excited because I have wanted a serger for a while and now I finally have one! I am looking for any and all advice I can get on how to operate this thing. Thinking about taking a class but don't know if it's worth it since this is a hand me down. Do I know how to use it?.. No. Do I know how to thread it?.. No. Am I excited for my next project?.. You betcha.

Nice hand me down! I remember when I got my sewing machine a few years back I had NO CLUE how to use it. One day I just got brave and read the manual and started working on projects. You'll have to post pics of your first project.
That's awesome! Now I know who to take my projects to when I need a serger! Lets be honest - that is all the time! Maybe I will have to ask Dara if she knows how to use one! :)
Kay I'm sure you'll figure it out and make tons of adorable things, like you already do! You are very talented! Where do you find the time? Thanks for that adorable blanket! I love it and so does Gavin! I didn't realize you made that dress you gave Kristin? Wow--talented girl! Thanks for coming down to visit us. It was fun and we'll definitely have to keep it up so the kiddos can play and get to know each other. Hopefully we can work it out to see you guys in September!
